Infusion Advert - Student Project

Infusion Advert
The advert I had created turned out to be better for what I thought it would be, for it being quite a good quality film.

The planning for the effect did turn out really well, which I was pleased with, because of doubting what outcome it would have.

When filming I did also improvise the majority of the shots, by having a kind of arc shot, with showing the two runners. This also was good for when I was editing, I managed to fit a perfect timing for when it displays the arc shot, it goes really well with the music.

During editing I also was questioning if the audience would pick up on the meaning or idea behind the advert. So I decided to add in the names of the runners, as they were represented as flavours.

I thought I would just include their titles in the advert, to enforce the idea behind it. I had in mind if the characters would have flavoured names it would influence exactly of what they are and represent.

When in the process of planning to film I also had the idea to display a product placement and use it in one of the shots. I printed out the brand logo and stuck it on one of the drinks to implement the drink.

I used it in the dropping of the drink, this shot was improvised I decided it would be better to instead use it in the build-up of them both running at each other, so I used it in a way to portray them both to start or set off to race; at the drop of the bottle.

This then created a momentum for the build but also created a close up of the logo, instead of just displaying a close up at the end, which I was going to just use. I thought it would be better that way.

At the end as well for the official product placement I also decided that it would be really good to add a bit of powder to fall down near it to get the effect of it being straight after the collision and being in the same place.

Overall I thought it did in fact portray the idea behind it really well and for it to be quite unique.

(Advert) Infusion - Focus Group

INFUSION Audience Research

After finishing the process of editing the advert I had created for my product, I had then began to give a preview to others for the feedback; of how well the quality of the advert looked and if the product also seemed good quality.

I had filmed three individual's feedback of the product and advert; displaying a montage of the three individuals.

When receiving the feedback I had got from the interviews, it suggested that the advert was good quality and had various techniques that worked well and that the advert was effective,  which it did have a remembrance and that the product did seem intriguing to try.

The conclusion of my advert I thought did come to terms with the idea I had for the advert. I thought the techniques used were good and the effect turned out successful.

Although I think I could improve slight aspects including the end shot. I could of implemented more description of the product and a voice over, which would give the final look a professional one.
